Bard’s Birthday Bash 2023

RSC’s 10th Annual Bard’s Birthday Bash

Please consider this our personal invitation to you to come join Recycled Shakespeare Company for our 10th Annual Bard’s Birthday Bash on April 22. Throughout the day, 9am – 5pm, we will be reading all of Shakespeare’s 154 sonnets interspersed with monologues and songs from his plays. It is a special birthday party for Shakespeare being our 10th year and the 400th anniversary of the publishing of the First Folio of his work. We are inviting people in our area who represent the good in our community and friends of Emily to read a sonnet.

In the morning we Stroll through Downtown Waterville, have lunch with sonnets at Jin Yuan 1 to 215 and relax to readings at Selah Tea from 2:30 to 5pm. We would be honored if you could join us for this wonderful event. If you would be interested in taking part of the event and read a sonnet, or would like more information, please get in touch with Lyn Rowden. You can also contact us through our FaceBook page.

We are also holding a Masquerade Ball 6 to 8pm with Elizabethan dances taught to all – and birthday cake, of course. The whole event is free and open to all so please invite your friends and spread the word! Thank you for considering this and for all you do for our community and beyond. We hope to see you there!
